3. Nature of Business

Collecthor is an online retail business specialising in the sale of authentic vintage and antique furniture. We operate exclusively through our e-commerce platform at www.collecthor.co.uk and offer worldwide shipping on all orders.

All items offered for sale are physical second-hand goods. As such, each piece is unique, and descriptions of condition, age, dimensions, and origin are provided to the best of our knowledge.

4. Shipping, Delivery & Oversized Freight

We offer worldwide delivery on all items at no additional charge to the customer. Shipping is included in the displayed product price.

Due to the oversized and fragile nature of vintage furniture, the following conditions apply:

  • Shipping costs are calculated and confirmed on a per-order basis after the order has been placed. The customer will not be charged any amount beyond the stated product price.
  • Delivery is arranged using specialist oversized freight and logistics carriers experienced in handling antique and vintage items.
  • Estimated delivery times vary by destination and will be communicated to the customer individually following order confirmation. We do not guarantee specific delivery dates unless explicitly confirmed in writing.
  • Collecthor shall not be liable for delays caused by customs clearance, import inspections, carrier disruptions, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that import permits, customs duties, taxes, and any applicable local charges in the destination country are paid. These costs are not included in the purchase price.
  • Risk of loss and damage passes to the customer upon handover of the goods to the freight carrier, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

5. Consumer Rights & Returns

Customers purchasing as consumers (not for business purposes) may have statutory rights under the laws of their country of residence. Nothing in this Legal Notice limits or excludes any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Consumers): In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Slovak Act No. 102/2014 Coll. on Consumer Protection in Distance Sales, EU/EEA consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods, without providing any reason.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us by sending a clear written statement to collecthor.uk@gmail.com before the withdrawal period expires.

UK Consumers: Customers based in the United Kingdom have rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These rights are not affected by this Legal Notice.

Return Shipping: Where a return is authorised, customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping of oversized items unless the item was materially misdescribed or arrived damaged. Specific return instructions will be provided upon request.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Collecthor and Industrialnestavby.sk s. r. o. shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or the purchase of our products;
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities;
  • Damages arising from delays in delivery caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities, or force majeure events;
  • Minor discrepancies in colour, texture, or finish between product photographs and the actual item, given the handmade or aged nature of vintage furniture;
  • Any loss or damage caused by the customer's failure to comply with import regulations or customs requirements in the destination country.

Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the total purchase price paid by the customer for the relevant item(s).

Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on www.collecthor.co.uk, including but not limited to product photographs, descriptions, logos, graphic elements, and the website design, is the intellectual property of Industrialnestavby.sk s. r. o. or is used under licence. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

8. Data Protection & Privacy (GDPR)

Industrialnestavby.sk s. r. o., operating as Collecthor, is the data controller responsible for personal data collected through www.collecthor.co.uk.

We collect and process personal data (including name, address, email address, phone number, and payment details) for the following purposes:

  • Processing and fulfilling your orders;
  • Communicating with you regarding your order, delivery, and customer support;

This Legal Notice and any dispute arising from the use of www.collecthor.co.uk or the purchase of goods shall be governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in the customer's country of residence.

EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr to resolve disputes.
